Full-time faculty currently employed may borrow up to 40 items of circulating library materials for eight weeks.

Part-time faculty currently employed may borrow up to 30 items of circulating library materials for six weeks.

Graduate students currently enrolled may borrow up to 40 items of circulating library materials for six weeks.

Staff members currently employed may borrow up to 30 items of circulating library materials for four weeks

Undergraduate students currently enrolled may borrow up to 15 items of circulating library materials for three weeks

Alumni, retired faculty and staff members may borrow up to 5 items of circulating library materials for four weeks.

Alumnus are required to pay NT3,000 as mortgage and then can check out five books with the loan period of four weeks.

Readers are asked to show the ID by themselves in order to borrow books.

Return box：The box for returning books is set next to the left side of the entrance of the library . The readers can return books when the library is closed by using the Reture Box.

Overdue fines：The books must be returned on due time. If they are not, the readers will be fined two dollar per book for each day. The alumnus will be fined ten dollars everyday.

Renewal：Renewal：Before the due time, if there is no other bookings, the readers can renew the books they have borrowed by themselves or by internet. Besides the undergraduates, other users can make phone calls the circulation window to renew the books. The telephone numbers are : 02-286101801 ext. 14256 and 02-2861-0511 ext. 14256.
During the renewal time, if the other reader needs the book renewed, the book must be returned upon the library's request.

Reservation：Checking the present situation of the book over on -line public catalog can reserve for the book which has been borrowed by other people. When the book is returned, the library will attach the notification of reservation on the bulletin board which is at the circulation desk on the second floor.
If you have applied the e-mail service, the library will notify you that the book is date due.
The library will reserve for the book about five days. If you don't come to get the book during the limited time, the library will cancel the right of this reservation.

Loss and Damage：Borrowers are held responsible for the replacement of any lost or damaged materials. The following rules apply:

1 For general books (including books published in Mainland China) ,the replacement copy must be the same edition or the newest edition.

2 Replacement of original copies of earlier editions with newer editions is allowed. Replacement cost for the out of print book should be thrice the price as the time of purchase.

3 For the loss of one (or more than one) book in a series or an entire set, it should be handled according to the first item of this section. Replacement cost for individual items in set which cannot be subscribed separately is 6 times estimated average price of the entire set.

The library will announce later about the date of returning books at the end of the semester and the methods of borrowing on winter or summer vacation.

If for the special situation, the library can return the borrowed book at any time.

For all the reasons that you have to leave school, the books should be returned before leaving school or indemnification.
